Banks: Banks and financial markets are closed on Nov. 22. Some financial markets close early on Nov. 23.

Government: City, county, federal and state offices, libraries and superior courts are closed on Nov. 22. City, county and state offices and libraries (including Los Angeles Public and Los Angeles County) and superior courts are also closed on Nov. 23.

Mail: The U.S. Postal Service does not deliver on Nov. 22. www.usps.com

Schools: Los Angeles Unified School District schools are closed both days.

Transit: Buses and subway services in Los Angeles run on a holiday schedule (www.metro.net). Metrolink’s Ventura County Line does not run on the holiday. The Antelope Valley Line runs on a Sunday service. Check the website for more details. (www.metrolinktrains.com).
