SANTA CLARITA, CA — Assemblyman Dante Acosta (AD-38) has been endorsed for his reelection to the State Assembly this week by the Los Angeles Police Protective League (LAPPL).

"Dante Acosta has proven he is an effective advocate for public safety. He has already made our state a safer place and continues to fight on behalf of our community in Sacramento," President Craig Lally said. "We need Dante Acosta to continue his work to keep dangerous criminals behind bars, help fight recidivism, and stop the rise in violent crime, which is why the Los Angeles Police Protective League is proud to support his run for State Assembly."

Formed in 1923, the Los Angeles Police Protective League (LAPPL) represents the more than 9,900 dedicated and professional sworn members of the Los Angeles Police Department.

"I am so incredibly grateful for all the men and women in law enforcement who put their lives on the line every day to keep our community safe," said Assemblyman Acosta. "I pledge to continue to be a strong advocate for these brave men and women, and I thank them for their support."
