The LA County Public Defender has joined forces with the First African American Methodist Episcopal (FAME) Church of Los Angeles to hold a multi-agency legal clinic on Sat., Nov. 4.

The public is invited to the free event, “Second Chance Fair,” held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at FAME church, 2270 S. Harvard Blvd., Los Angeles, Ca. 90018.

Attorneys, paralegals and law clerks from the Public Defender will assist with record-clearing Prop 47 and Prop 64 relief as well as expungement forms. Other County departments will offer Medical, CalFresh, veteran, mental health and housing services.

Employers committed to second chances will be in attendance to talk to potential candidates. Please join the County and FAME’s faith leaders to see how your life can benefit from the Second Chance Fair.
