47,000 people in Los Angeles County don't have a home.  Many will have no choice but to sleep in a riverbed, underneath a freeway, or in a tent on the sidewalk.

Thousands more are just one missed paycheck away from losing everything. 

Tomorrow, we can change that. In December, I co-authored the motion that placed Measure H on the ballot. Measure H is a quarter cent sales tax which will raise about $355 million annually. The money will be used to fund much needed services like mental healthcare and drug addiction treatment that will help break the cycle of homelessness that thousands of veterans, children, and families are stuck in.
