Commentary: Town Council Successes hi-lighted by Lyons Canyon Project

One of the many successes for the West Ranch Town Council over past several years was the reduction in the scope of the D.R. Horton project on the Warner Ranch property a.k.a. Lyons Canyon. This was a project that was original intended to have nearly 1000 homes with no thought to the impact on local resources and infrastructure. (more…)

Sunset Pointe LMD issues moving towards resolution; Advisory Committee sets up Blog site to help Residents

Last year the West Ranch Town Council formed a Sunset Pointe Advisory Committee to look into the LMD issues that came to light in Spring of 2007. The committee is Chaired by Town Council member Chuck O’Connell and has several residents of Sunset Pointe serving on the committee to resolve the LMD landscaping and maintenance issues.
