We have made some further changes this week to the West Ranch Beacon. Both the achieves and category boxes have been collapsed into buttons on the lower left side of our site. If you click on either they will expand out and you will be able to find all the information still there. (more…)
We have added a new link to Ryan Metlen’s political cartoon blog. Ryan graduated from CalArts in 1999 with a degree in film and animation. 
Gray wolves have entered the spin cycle. Since March 28, when the wolf was taken off the list of federally protected species in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, a fierce battle of perceptions and posturing has unfolded on the Web and in the news media as pro-wolf and anti-wolf forces stake out sometimes hyperbolic positions concerning where in the West animals and humans should exist. 
I find it so interested how vial, rude and basically just plain nasty people can be when they have the anonymity of the Internet to hide behind. So I thought this week I would focus on things people say in the comments sections at the bottoms of online new story’s.
