On Tuesday, December 22, 2009, Nabil Tawab, 37, of Porter Ranch was fatally shot about 6:30 PM in the parking lot of the Wells Fargo bank building at the corner of Valencia Blvd. and The Old Road. Investigators have yet to make an arrest or determine a motive in the murder.
Mr. Tawab apparently ran a credit “repair” business. According to sources close the case, he was shot 3 times in the chest at close range. The bullet wounds were apparently in a close grouping suggesting that the assailant may have carried out a planned “hit” on Tawab.
The source, who wished to remain anonymous as they were not authorized to speak about the case, said that investigators have few leads to go on. They also said that it is likely that no arrest will ever be made as the belief is the perpetrator is long gone and may possibly even be out of the country.
