Santa Clarita Mayor Frank Ferry, Mayor Pro Tem Laurene Weste and Councilwoman Marsha McLean will announce their intention to seek re-election to Santa Clarita City Council today at 2:00 PM.  They will be making the public announcement near the fire station on 26320 Citrus Street in Santa Clarita. The council election will be held in April 2010. The election may prove to be a pivotal one for the Santa Clarita Valley as there are more than a few disgruntled city residents that are frustrated with how the city is being managed. There are rumbles of a number of local individuals throwing their hats in for a run at a council seat. Hence the group announcement and apparent run together as a block by Ferry, Weste and McLean. Let the games begin!
