During the month of February there will be several opportunities to see the Santa Clarita City Council Candidates speak. Three separate forum/debates are planned around town.

On Friday, February 15th, KHTS and the Signal will be hosting a Candidate forum in the City Council Chambers at City Hall starting at 5:00 PM through 7:00 PM. The program will be broadcast live on AM-1220, KHTS, and will be available as both an audio and video podcast for later viewing.

On Wednesday, February 20th, at the regular monthly Canyon Country Advisory Committee meeting a Candidate Forum will be hosted by the Santa Clarita Community Coalition, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at the George A. Caravalho Activities Center Banquet Room located at 20880 Center Pointe Parkway.  Sponsoring organizations include the Canyon Country Advisory Committee, Placerita Canyon Property Owners Association, Saugus Action Team, SMART Growth SCV, No Mercy Hills Community Watch, Vista Del Canon Home Owners Association, Democratic Club of the Santa Clarita Valley, Black Business Committee, and Democratic Club of the 38th Assembly District.

Then on Wednesday, February 27th, SCVTV and the Santa Clarita Senior Center will be holding a Santa Clarita City Council Debate at the Senior Center, 22900 Market Street, in Newhall from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The debate will be broadcast on channel 20 SCVTV and will be available on the SCVTV website for later viewing.
