Wednesday - August 29, 2007 - 12:30 p.m. - Saugus: Deputy Peterson arrested Roger Villalobos, MH/56, of Saugus on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol after the vehicle he was reportedly driving was involved in a traffic collision in the 26000 block of Bouquet Canyon Road. The suspect reportedly left the area and was apprehended at his nearby residence. He was booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station on a misdemeanor charge of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Wednesday - August 29, 2007 - 1:44 p.m. - Valencia: Deputies arrested a Canyon Country youth on theft charges after she was reportedly caught on video surveillance stealing clothing items from the Valencia Macy’s Store. The subject, FH/17, was detained by loss prevention agents until deputies arrived. She was booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station on a misdemeanor Petty Theft charge. Wednesday - August 29, 2007 - 2:20 p.m. - Valencia: Deputies arrested Krystal Clarke, FB/18, on theft and vandalism charges after she allegedly stole clothing items from the Valencia Macy’s Store. The suspect was detained by loss prevention agents until deputies arrived. She was booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station on a misdemeanor Petty Theft charge. She also faces a misdemeanor Vandalism charge after she reportedly damaged a clothing item while attempting to cut off the security sensor. Wednesday - August 29, 2007 - 11:55 p.m. - Saugus: Deputies Vaziri and Perkins arrested two Saugus residents on drug related charges after reportedly finding methamphetamine in their possession. The deputies were conducting a patrol check in the alleyway behind the Goodwill Industries Store at 26883 Bouquet Canyon Road and detained the couple. The two suspects, MW/42 and FH/43, were booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. The male suspect faces a felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail. The female suspect faces a felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance and a misdemeanor charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She also had two outstanding warrants for Driving Under the Influence. She is being held without bail pending future court proceedings. -ref 16341
