SCV Sheriff Detectives seek public assistance in identifying man who robbed the Castaic Inn at gunpoint

Detectives from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station are seeking public assistance in identifying the individual pictured here and in the attached Special Bulletin. This man, described as a male Hispanic, 20′s, 5’08″ tall, weighing 170 pounds, is being sought for questioning only in connection with an incident of armed robbery.
The robbery occurred just before midnight on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the Castaic Inn located in the 31400 block of Ridge Route Road, Castaic, Unincorporated Los Angeles County.
The suspect walked into the front desk, pointed a black revolver at the clerk and ordered him into a restroom. The suspect instructed the victim not to come out for 10 minutes or he would be shot. The suspect fled the scene after obtaining an undisclosed amount of money. The man pictured here should be considered armed and dangerous.
