The Citizens Redistricting Commission (CRC) continues to review district maps with votes coming next before they issue their final draft maps on Friday, July 29th. Here is the latest status:
Congress – The map has remained unchanged and it continues to keep SCV whole.
Assembly – I received a text on Saturday, July 23rd informing me the CRC discussed putting Agua Dulce back into the SCV Assembly District. I have no other information.
Senate – On Saturday July 23rd the CRC discussed the SCV Senate seat. The CRC continues to split Santa Clarita into two separate districts. Also they added Malibu back into the senate district that links the western part of our valley with the SFV and east Ventura County.
