(From the AP) Authorities say a 19-year-old man has died after being struck by a Los Angeles commuter train. Fire Department spokesman Cecil Manresa says emergency crews responded Tuesday evening and found the man dead near the tracks in the Pacoima area.

Nobody on the outbound Metrolink train was injured. The victim’s name has not been released. Investigators are trying to determine how he ended up in the train’s path.

Train service was briefly delayed.
