The Los Angeles County Fire department is now reporting that a 20 acre brush fire was burning on the shoulder and hillside along the southbound side of Interstate 5 south of Calgrove near the Gun Club has now been contained. It had been a two alarm fire with Los Angeles City Fire assisting as well as other resources being added to knock this fire down quickly. There were never any structures being threatened according to a spokesperson with L.A. County Fire. As of press time all lanes of the I-5 Freeway are open but traffic is slow with lot s of looky-loos!
