Tuesday night we will know the outcome of a toughly fought election for Santa Clarita City Council.  My having been on the Council for ten years I can assure you of the importance of the right outcome.  We are fortunate in Santa Clarita to have an outstanding City Manager backed by capable and caring City employees.   That said, the City Council is the ultimate decision maker in all matters affecting this city today and into the future.  It is imperative that Council members have an agenda that is about the City and not about themselves.  They must be capable of listening to people, seek out as much information as possible, apply common sense and then make a decision.

For these reasons and many more, David Gauny will be getting my vote Tuesday morning.
