There have been a few changes made to our site that that we wanted to point out. Towards the bottom of the home page we have added two new ads. The first is for the Sweet Charity Cake Auction being held on Saturday, March 27, 2010 which benefits the SCV Youth Project. You don’t have to have a cake to attend but you can certainly bid on one! This is a terrific event and one that the West Ranch Beacon is a sponsor of for the second year in a row.

Under the Sweet Charity Cake Auction ad is a save the date notice for the 3^rd Annual TPC/West Ranch Art & Wine Gala which will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2010. This event has been a very successful charity event that has raised funds for local Santa Clarita Valley arts organizations. As of press time, there has already been eight table to the event sold and this is a September event!! Mark your calendars for this wonderful evening of great food, spectacular wines and incredible artworks.

Finally at the bottom the home page in the Community Resources block there is a new button for the California Small Business Development Center (SBDC) based here in Santa Clarita. This is a great resource for anyone that owns and operates a small business in the Santa Clarita Valley. If you click on that new button it will link you to SBDC website which is filled with great information and resources.
