Some updates and changes have been made recently to The West Ranch Beacon that we would like to point out. The first is a new advertisement from Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich on the lower right of the home page. If you click on this paid ad a page will pop up with a variety of information on County services and resources.

At the bottom of the home page in the community resources box we have added a new button for the I-5 Golden State Gateway Coalition. This is a Santa Clarita Valley based organization that is dedicated to getting improvements made to the I-5 corridor that runs through the Santa Clarita Valley. You can find out when the truck only lanes will be built; how far the SCV will the car pool (HOV) lanes go; and much more.

And finally we wanted to point out that the September Community meeting notes have been added. These are the comprehensive notes that were taken at both the West Ranch and Castaic Area meetings that discussed the Annexation Analysis report. You’ll be able to read about questions that your neighbors asked and the answers that were given. This report is interesting in that it gives insight into what is on the minds of unincorporated residents.
