As part of State Route 138 widening and in order to perform asphalt work, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close one lane of eastbound State Route 138, overnight, from 96th Street East to 106th Street East as follows:

• From 9 p.m. Friday, August 1 to 7 a.m. Saturday, August 2
• From 9 p.m. Monday, August 4 to 7 a.m. Tuesday, August 5 

Flaggers will be on site to assist motorists.  Signs will be posted. Caltrans reminds motorists that traffic fines are doubled in freeway and highway work zones. BUSINESSES ARE OPEN DURING CONSTRUCTION.  PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MERCHANTS.
