Elections, Annexation worth a read
Posted by admin under Annexation , City of Santa Clarita , County of LA [2] CommentsWith the latest salvo being fired by the City of Santa Clarita in the on going question of the governance status of the West Ranch communities I thought I would point out a few columns that are worth reading. One is current and the other is part 3 of an interview we did Supervisor Antonovich.
Â
First is a piece written by Chris Sharp that was just posted below titled; After Iraq, Let’s Bring Democracy to Santa Clarita. It discusses how the local City Council election was conducted and the turn out by City voters. It’s interesting because it was not that much better on a percentage basis than the Town Council elections.
Â
The next piece that I think maybe worth another read is Exclusive Beacon Interview with Supervisor Antonovich Part III. There are several questions about annexation that the Supervisor answers and you will get a sense of where the he stands on the issue.Â

Very lite! It was not a very good showing and if you go into the archives on the right side of the web site, July of 2006, you will find a complete breakdown and re-cap.
Thank you for you question,
